Snow covered Željezno Polje on Friday morning, a village that was almost wiped off the face of the earth by May landslides this year, and which hardworking residents, with the help of domestic and international humanitarian organizations, have managed to largely restore to this day, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
More than 5,000 residents of this town in the municipality of Žepče were completely cut off from civilization, and hundreds of houses and facilities were destroyed in just one day.
About 100 families from Željezno Polje have still not returned to their homes, and are staying in rented apartments or with relatives.
In the photos, see how the village, whose images went around the world in May, looks on Friday morning, writes NAP.
