(Patria) - Saša Magazinović, SDP representative in the Parliament of BiH, commented on the initiative of the Central Election Commission of BiH to amend the Election Law of BiH, which ultimately leads to postponing the elections in October.
“Politics the Bosnian way, and probably fishing in troubled waters. Did it occur to them to shorten the deadlines for election preparations, to possibly consider special measures, do they know that elections for the mayor of Munich were held about ten days ago?
Are they announcing from the CEC that a similar situation will occur in October? Why should the CEC decide on such an important issue alongside the Parliament, which will in the coming days create the possibility to work online?
Or perhaps they are already preparing to prevent the people from punishing or rewarding in the elections all those who were and are responsible for successfully responding to the crisis situation.
I understand the ruling parties, they want to postpone the elections with or without the coronavirus. It will be very interesting to see how the opposition reacts to this,” said Magazinović.
