Poor match at Grbavica: Željo and Sloboda disappoint in first leg

In a first leg unworthy of the BiH Cup semi-finals, Željezničar and Sloboda played out a 0-0 draw at Grbavica in front of around 3,000 spectators.

Admir Adžem significantly shuffled his lineup compared to previous matches, giving starting opportunities to Anel
Šabanadžović, Kemal Osmanković, Saša Kajkut, and debutant Andrej Modić. Slavko Petrović made no major changes,
replacing Perica Ivetić, who is ineligible for Cup competition, with Aleksandar Lazevski.

In an extremely poor first half, the visitors were somewhat more active with several dangerous shots, but Vedran Kjosevski
was up to the task. A problem for the home side was also the injury to Sinan Ramović as early as the 7th minute, with Ivan Crnov coming on in his place.

After a cross from the right, Amer Bekić shot on the volley from about 10 meters, and Kjosevski saved. A period of
rhythmless play and few chances followed. The home side had their first, such as it was, chance in the 33rd minute, with Daniel Graovac's header
going wide of the goal.

In the next three minutes, Sloboda threatened twice. Dino Rustemović was left alone after a corner, but shot wide
of the goal. In the 37th minute, the quick-footed Darko Todorović shook off Adi Mehremić, shot, and Kjosevski was again equal
to the task.

The first half ended with a dangerous situation in the visitors' penalty area. Stojan Vranješ sent in a sharp
free-kick cross, Azir Muminović was uncertain, Crnov tried to capitalise, but the visitors cleared the danger.

Željezničar increased the tempo from the start of the second half. In the 47th minute, Vranješ failed to turn the ball
into the net after a corner. Ten minutes later, Adžem brought on Jovan Blagojević. In the 63rd minute, the best chance for the home side.
Muminović saved a good shot from Zakarić, and Osmanković and Kajkut, who got in each other's way, failed to put the rebound
into the goal.

Sloboda threatened in the 76th minute. Borislav Terzić broke down the right side and sent a dangerous cross into the middle, but none of his teammates were there.

In the 77th minute, Adžem made a rarely seen move. He replaced Crnov, who had entered the game at the start, with Dženan Zajmović.

Zajmović had the next chance for the home side after a good shot from the edge of the penalty area, but the ball went just wide of the goal.

The Blues tried until the end to score a winning goal, but there was no change, so it remained 0-0 from the start.

The return leg is at Tušanj in seven days.
