The hosts started the match better and scored in the 12th minute through Semenya, but the goal was disallowed for offside.

City responded in the 27th minute after a set piece, when Haaland tried to threaten, but the home defense managed to clear the danger.

In the 39th minute, after a good play by the hosts, Kroupi precisely hit Manchester City's net for 1:0.

Although City was expected to take control of the game in the second half, Bournemouth was the more concrete and dangerous opponent.

On several occasions, the hosts could have increased their lead, but Donnarumma kept the visitors in the game with excellent saves.

The Citizens equalized in the 95th minute through Haaland, but the goal came too late, so the score remained 1:1.

After this draw, City was left without a chance for the title.

London's Arsenal thus mathematically secured the English championship title, for the first time since the 2003/04 season.
