
(Patria) - Postponed Local elections in Fojnica, Kiseljak, Konjic and Kreševo will be held on Sunday, 20.10.2024.
In the area of the mentioned municipalities, on Saturday 19.10.2024, at 07:00 AM, election silence begins and lasts until the closing of polling stations on Sunday, 20.10.2024, at 19:00 PM.
The postponed elections will be conducted at 118 polling stations in the mentioned municipalities, of which 16 are mobile teams, and 54,379 registered voters have the right to vote.
The Central Election Commission of BiH has also adopted a special Instruction on the method of identification and voting of voters in the postponed elections, according to which a voter whose personal documents were destroyed in a natural disaster can exercise their right to vote by presenting a personal identification card form with a photograph (LK-O-I4) issued by the competent Ministry of Internal Affairs.
For the issuance of the personal identification card form with a photograph - LK-O-I4, it is necessary for the voter to personally contact the competent Ministry of Internal Affairs and report that their identification documents have been destroyed, based on which they will be issued the personal identification card form with a photograph LK-O-I4.
For the purpose of voting for evacuated voters, for polling stations Jasenik 127A029, Džanići 127A031 and Gornje Višnjevice 127A041, the Municipal Election Commission Konjic will determine new locations for polling stations where voters will exercise their right to vote, and inform voters about it. Non-evacuated voters from the mentioned polling stations will exercise their right to vote through 6 mobile teams.
The Central Election Commission of BiH has appointed 8 coordinators on behalf of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to coordinate and supervise the postponed elections in the basic electoral units Fojnica, Kiseljak, Kreševo.
Regarding the holding of postponed elections in Fojnica, an Instruction on additional protection of ballot papers has been adopted, which provides for the use of an additional stamp on ballot papers marked "postponed elections".
This additional measure is introduced by the Central Election Commission because the ballot papers were already with the polling station committees, but without any doubt that the election material has been compromised.
