Ljevaković in official visit to the Banja Luka Muftiship: Current issues and challenges facing the Islamic Community discussed

(Patria) - Deputy of the Reis-ul-Ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Enes Ljevaković visited the Banja Luka Muftiship today. During the visit, he held a meeting with the Mufti of Banja Luka, Ismail-ef. Smajlović, at which current issues and challenges facing the Islamic Community in this area were discussed.



Before the noon prayer, the Deputy of the Reis-ul-Ulema held a lecture in the Ferhat-pašina Mosque. In his address, he emphasized that the month of Ramadan is a month of God's mercy, worship, the Qur'an, but also of mutual support, respect, and solidarity.

After the lecture, Ljevaković met with the presidents and chief imams of all councils of the Banja Luka Muftiship.

This meeting discussed Ramadan activities and priorities in religious and social work in this area.

Deputy of the Reis-ul-Ulema Ljevaković congratulated the imams and council leadership on the successful management of religious life and the implementation of Ramadan activities, as well as other activities that contribute to the spiritual and social strengthening of the community.

The meeting with imams and council leadership was also attended by the Mufti of Banja Luka, Ismail Smajlović, the media advisor to the Reis-ul-Ulema, Mustafa Prljača, and the program director of the Media Center of the Islamic Community, Nedim Hrbat.

During the continuation of the visit to the Banja Luka Muftiship, Deputy of the Reis-ul-Ulema Enes Ljevaković will visit the Council of the Islamic Community of Kotor Varoš, where he will attend a joint iftar and address the faithful.
