LINE 105 Trolleybuses go to Vogošća from today

(Patria) - This morning at 6:20, a trolleybus departed from Vogošća towards Austria Square after 33 years. This is line 105 and after the reconstruction of the contact network, this pre-war line was the first to be established.

The trolleybus network was destroyed during the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sarajevo, and in April 1992, the trolleybus to Vogošća ran for the last time.

"We brought the trolleybus back to Vogošća, bought new trams, new trolleybuses, reconstructed the tram track and are extending it to Hrasnica. We implemented all these projects for the first time after decades of waiting. And there is no stopping. What I promised, I tried to fulfill and I did. With the money of all our citizens, we improved public transport and traffic in Sarajevo Canton. Let every new project be a source of pride for us," stated the Minister of Transport of Sarajevo Canton, Adnan Šteta.
