Champions League in the City on the Neretva: Mostar SG Staklograd Ready for European Matches

Sports fans in Mostar are eagerly awaiting Wednesday and the preliminary round tournament of the UEFA Futsal Champions League, which will be held in the city on the Neretva from August 23 to 26, with the winner advancing to the next phase in Romania, reports the Patria agency.

Mostar SG Staklorad won the double crown last season, and to advance further they will need to be better than Albania's Flamurtari Vlore, Turkey's top team Arnavutkoy Belediye Spor, and Narva United from Estonia.

The Mostar team hopes to continue their good form and success, and the hall in Sjeverni logor has been specially prepared for this tournament.

In these historic matches, the jersey of Mostar SG Staklorad will be worn by: Stanislav Galić, Rijad Memić, Bekir Hodžić, Vladan Vesić, Daniel de Souza, Tarik Džemić, Benjamin Šikalo, Dejan Pavlović, Kristijan Radin, Marijo Aladžić, Saša Babić, Nermin Kahvedžić, Enis Isaković, Anel Radmilović, Haris Kajtaz, Mirko Hrkać, Elvir Salčin, Josip Bošković, and the coach is Mirsad Fazlinović.

Without them, it would be difficult to win the double crown and play tomorrow's match at 9:15 PM against Arnavutkoy Belediye Spor. The management has done its duties, as has the club coach, and everything else is up to the players, who are ready physically and mentally. It is evident from their effort and training that they also want to advance to the second round of the Champions League – says club president Amel Bajgorić.

The Mostar team had their final rehearsal before the tournament against the champions of Montenegro, the team "Titograd", whom they defeated 5:2.

Tickets for the preliminary tournament can already be purchased at the box office of the hall in Sjeverni logor, and the price of a daily ticket is 5 KM.
