Lendo: Unacceptable and scandalous program for the opening ceremony of the Počitelj bridge

(Patria) - The Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Refik Lendo, commented on Facebook regarding today's opening of the "Hercegovina" bridge, which will be attended by the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković.

- In the political and public life, as well as in the media space in BiH, in the period from the suspension of the Constitution of the FBiH for one day, the imposition of the Government, the delegitimization of the electoral will, and the denial of the political and constitutional rights of Bosniaks, I am witnessing the disturbing and deeply concerning actions and messages of HDZ political representatives.

Empowered by their political position within the federal coalition, where all political decisions are made exclusively by Dragan Čović, and which the "Trojka" implements even in the absence of political strength in power to protect the interests of the state, HDZ political representatives have directed state institutions and projects financed by the citizens of the FBiH towards achieving their own political goals and those of the Republic of Croatia - states Lendo.

This is evidenced by the political and cultural-artistic program of the opening ceremony of the "Počitelj" bridge, which was renamed the "Hercegovina" bridge, Lendo points out.

- The political program, which envisages that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, be invited to give a speech and promote a project built with the financial means of the citizens of the FBiH as Croatian, is unacceptable and scandalous.

The cultural-artistic part of the program is equally unacceptable, as it highlights only and exclusively the culture and tradition of the Croatian people, with the aim in the context of the entire event to strengthen the impression that this is a Croatian project built on "Croatian territory".

Therefore, Bosniaks and other citizens of the FBiH are invited to repay the loan funds with which the project was financed, but they are not invited to participate in the cultural-artistic program of the opening ceremony and promote their own culture and tradition - emphasized Lendo, among other things.
