Lendo: State irresponsibility and party cynicism push BiH into poverty

(Patria) - Vice President of the Federation of BiH Refik Lendo strongly condemned the ruling structures at the state and entity level that directly jeopardize the European future of BiH and the standard of its citizens.

- The loss of 212 million convertible marks from the European Union Fund for Reform Support is not just an administrative oversight - it is a direct and unequivocal consequence of the irresponsibility and blockades carried out by the political parties from the ruling coalition.

These parties, trapped in mutual horse-trading, have shown that they are not interested in the interest of the state, but exclusively in chairs and the protection of narrow national and party interests - Lendo points out.

He emphasizes that the silence and passivity of the authorities in the face of clearly set European demands is the most expensive silence in the recent history of this country. Instead of implementing reforms, they consciously obstruct them, jeopardizing the future and perspective of BiH, and even the lives of ordinary citizens.

- I especially warn that an additional 200 million KM in aid could be lost as early as September this year, if the same practice of obstruction continues. That will be an unforgivable act against the future of this country and its citizens.

In addition, the Government of the Federation of BiH, shamefully and without any transparency, is borrowing 350 million euros for the Federation on the international stock exchange. This was done without the consent of the Parliament of FBiH, without public debate, without a plan, without goals. Basically, without shame.

The citizens of BiH deserve a responsible and competent government that will adequately represent and protect them. They do not need political traders, who instead of implementing reforms, trade chairs and leave huge debts.

The citizens of BiH need true patriots and leaders who will lead the country forward, towards the European Union - Lendo said in a post on his Facebook profile.
