Ice on Sarajevo streets, rain and warming expected, increased danger of floods due to melting snow

(Patria) - Meteorologists announce rain for this week, which, along with melting snow, could cause floods, so caution and readiness of competent services to react in a timely manner are needed.

Although the temperature was below zero this morning, with icy conditions on the streets of Sarajevo, rain is expected today in the afternoon and evening hours.

Heavier precipitation is expected in Herzegovina, western and southwestern Bosnia. The wind is of moderate strength, with occasional strong gusts, from the south. The lowest morning air temperature is mostly between -6 and -1°C, up to 4°C in the south of the country. The highest daily air temperature is mostly between 3 and 8°C, up to 11°C in the south of the country.

On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, the weather in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be cloudy with rain. The wind will be moderate to strong from the south. Occasional stormy gusts of south wind are possible. The wind will weaken in the evening hours. The lowest morning air temperature will be mostly between 3 and 9°C, up to 13°C in the south of the country.
