(Patria) - LeBron James (39) will break a record this year - he has officially been selected for the NBA All-Star Game for the 20th time.
The oldest player in the world's strongest league and Los Angeles Lakers superstar previously shared the record for the "All-Star" spectacle with a Lakers legend, the legendary center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
LeBron began his NBA career in 2003, has won four NBA titles, and continues to play at a top level.
In his 21st career season, he is averaging an impressive 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 7.4 assists, for a team that is ninth in the Western Conference standings.
LeBron James has set the record for most NBA All-Star selections with 20.
James is an All-Star starter for the 20th straight year – a streak that began in 2005, his second NBA season. He is set to play in his 20th All-Star Game, extending his record.

James has won the All-Star Game MVP award three times, the last time in 2018.
