Lazović: Sanctions are ineffective, entities must be overcome as they are the source of conflict in BiH

(Patria) - Sanctions have followed Republika Srpska since its inception. Immediately after the war ended, the entire political and military leadership of RS was sanctioned by the international community and convicted before the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

Miro Lazović, President of the Forum of Parliamentarians of BiH 1990, wrote this on social networks, adding:

"Lessons were not learned. After that, sanctions reached many other officials of RS. Lessons were again absent.
Today, after so many years, we again have a situation where the entire leadership of RS has been placed under sanctions by the US government".

"Accumulated experience leads us to various perceptions, and one of them is the famous Shakespearean quote 'SOMETHING IS ROTTEN IN THE STATE OF DENMARK'. Instead of Denmark, we can say BiH. The entity division of our country must be overcome. It is the source of all our, open and hidden, misunderstandings and political conflicts", concluded Lazović.
