(Patria) - The best BiH swimmer Lana Pudar will still have the opportunity to "attack" a new medal at the European Championships in Romanian Otopeni tonight.
Our Lana will compete in the 100-meter butterfly final!
She was only one hundredth of a second short of qualifying for the final yesterday, finishing in ninth place. However, this also meant that the young swimmer from Mostar was the first reserve.
It doesn't happen often, but one swimmer withdrew from the final, allowing Lana Pudar to compete for another medal.
"We haven't finished with this year's major finals yet. We have just been informed by the head delegate of the European Championships that there has been one withdrawal from the final, and that our Lana Pudar, as the first reserve, will compete in this evening's 100-meter butterfly final, which is scheduled for 5:13 PM.
Sometimes in sports, as in life, you need a bit of luck. If anyone deserves that luck, it's our Lana," announced the Orka Water Sports Club.
Let us remind you once again, the 100-meter butterfly final is scheduled for this evening from 5:13 PM.
