(Patria) - The best BiH athlete has once again made the nation proud. Brilliant Lana Pudar won bronze last night at the World Championships in Doha in the 200-meter butterfly race.
At 18 years old, the current European champion competed in her third final and achieved another fantastic result.
Although injured, Pudar did not compete in the 100 meters, in order to achieve another great result in the 200 meters, and won her first medal at the World Championships in the senior competition.
Via social media, Lana thanked everyone for their support, especially those who cheered her on at the pool itself, where, as she says, she had the greatest support so far. She also thanked for the large number of congratulations and messages she received.
"As for the race itself, I came without any expectations due to some minor problems I had during the preparations for this competition, so this medal is truly special to me and gives me great motivation for further work. The main part is yet to come," said Pudar.
She adds that a lot of work awaits her in the period ahead.
"Once again, a big thank you to everyone," said our best swimmer.
