Lana Pudar misses 100m final, 200m qualifications on Wednesday

(Patria) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's top swimmer Lana Pudar failed to qualify for the final of the World Aquatics Championships in the 100-meter butterfly.

Lana finished fifth in her heat with a time of 57.34, which was 0.58 seconds slower than 20-year-old American Torri Huske, who won the heat with a time of 56.76.

Second was Emma McKeon with a time of 56.89, and third was American Gretchen Walsh with a time of 57.14. Only these three swimmers from the first heat qualified for the final.

Faster than Lana was also Sweden's Louise Hansson with a time of 57.29, while behind our top swimmer were Greece's Anna Ntountounaki, Katerine Savard, and Amina Kajtaz.

In addition to the 100 meters, Lana Pudar is also competing in the 200-meter butterfly, with qualifications scheduled for Wednesday.
