(Patria) - Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Vedran Lakić held a meeting today with former workers of the once industrial giant "Krivaja" from Zavidovići.
On that occasion, he listened in detail to their problems and discussed possible modalities for resolving the long-standing workers' issues.
The workers expressed their gratitude to Minister Lakić for his understanding and willingness to take concrete steps that the Ministry has already undertaken. They emphasized that today's meeting is another confirmation of the goodwill of the Ministry and the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić, to help the former workers of Krivaja. They particularly highlighted the importance of the engagement so far in the process of linking their service.
So far, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has provided more than 10 million KM for linking the service of the workers, which represents a key step towards resolving their status.
Upon taking office as Prime Minister of the FBiH, Prime Minister Nikšić clearly emphasized that resolving the problems of workers and struggling companies is one of the priorities – which has already been confirmed through the example of the company "Zrak".
"These are not just numbers and documents – these are human destinies. It is our obligation to find a just solution, and we will do so," said Minister Lakić.
