2018 World Cup Qualifiers: Meša calls up 26 Dragons

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team begins its 2018 World Cup qualifiers on September 6 with a match against Estonia at the Bilino Polje stadium in Zenica, Patria reports.

Coach Mehmed Baždarević today announced the list of players he is counting on for this match, which includes 26 names.

- A new qualifying cycle is ahead of us and a difficult match awaits us. It is important that we prepare in a professional and responsible manner and make a successful first step. It may seem that the match against Estonia is easy, but we must not fall into a trap. We have to do the match in the best possible way. We have to play combatively in order to make a difference - said Baždarević.

The coach also commented on the form of the national team players.

- It was difficult to follow the players during the preparatory period, because for some the championship is just starting now, but we tried to do it as well as possible and we can be satisfied with their form.

The list does not include the injured Muhamed Bešić, and the coach said that they will miss him.
