SARAJevo, (Patria) - In the Czech Pardubice tonight, the 11th round match of the qualifiers for the World Basketball Championship in China will be played between the selections of the Czech Republic and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The match starts at 6:00 PM, but it will not have any significance in terms of results for our national team, which lost its chances for the World Cup with two wins and eight losses earlier.
In September last year, the Czechs celebrated in Sarajevo with 85:80.
This time too, the BiH selection will be significantly weakened, and coach Vedran Bosnić will not be able to count on Emir Sulejmanović, Nedim Buza, Ibrahim Durmo, and Ismet Sejfić on the visit to the Czech Republic.
Our national team returns from Pardubice to Zenica, where they will conclude this qualifying cycle on Sunday, February 24, against Bulgaria.
Today, two more qualifying duels are being played in our group: Bulgaria - Russia (5:00 PM) and Finland - France (6:00 PM).
In the last round, on February 24, the following will play: BiH - Bulgaria (6:00 PM), Russia - Finland (2:00 PM), France - Czech Republic (5:00 PM).
