SBiH Sarajevo Cantonal Board: When Tires Become an Procurement Art

(Patria) - KJKP "RAD" is facing the most difficult situation since the establishment of this company. Erosion of the company's financial standing and crime within RAD are characteristics that now adorn this company, according to the reaction of the Cantonal Board of the Party for BiH Sarajevo.

"KJKP "RAD" finished the business year 2024 with a loss of 3.2 million KM. The company is unable to procure tires, and the trucks have bald and completely flat tires. For this reason, and after the snowfall, garbage is not being collected in the hilly parts of the city due to the condition of the tires. In addition to this, dozens of vehicles have not passed technical inspections, making the grim picture of this public utility company even grimmer," the statement said.



They add: "What is shocking is that the workers of "RAD" are being dramatically harassed, and the workers
are threatened that if they speak out, they will be punished".

"Utility companies in the Sarajevo Canton have been brought to the brink of survival, and the management of these companies sees the only way out in increasing the prices of their services. Snow has surprised them again, water is leaking everywhere, funeral services have drastically increased in price, the air is polluted, garbage is collected irregularly, and now we have reached a point where even procuring tires has become an art. Shameful and pathetic from the current authorities," state KV SBiH.
