Kulenović: Renaming the bridge near Počitelj is part of Croatia's intentions to encircle 'Herceg-Bosnia'

(Patria) - President of Krug 99 Adil Kulenović was a guest on Hayat Television's show "Dobar dan BiH".

Among other things, he commented on the opening of the bridge on Corridor 5c tonight, which was supposed to be named "Počitelj", but was renamed "Hercegovina" by the decision of the Director of Autoceste Federacije, and also commented on the presence of Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković at the opening ceremony.

Kulenović says that the name change should not surprise us after the bridge connecting Čapljina and Ljubuški was named "Franjo Tuđman".

- In addition, it should be mentioned that it was announced that the bridge would also be opened by the Prime Minister of neighboring Croatia, Andrej Plenković, which speaks to the effort to mark the space of the imagined "Herceg-Bosna", or Greater Croatia, in every way, which would, of course, undermine BiH as a sovereign state.

Insisting on the sovereignty of the people, turning ethnic national groups into sovereign nations, is understood as part of the framework of the Croatian nation and the Croatian state.

The name change is also in line with what President Zoran Milanović said in a conversation with generals - that Croatia's key strategic interest is to thicken the slice and strengthen itself in the Herzegovina region.

Therefore, they are strategically interested in moving the borders of this imagined Croatia as far away from the sea as possible - Kulenović points out, among other things.
