SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Ministry of Health of Canton Sarajevo published on Friday two public advertisements for the nomination/appointment of presidents and members of supervisory boards of public healthcare institutions founded by Canton Sarajevo, as well as for presidents and members of management boards of public healthcare institutions. The advertisement remains open for 15 days.
Supervisory boards will be elected in the Public Institution Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance of Canton Sarajevo, the Public Institution Institute for Health Protection of Students of the University of Sarajevo, the Public Institution Institute for Occupational Medicine of Canton Sarajevo, the Public Institution Institute for Public Health of Canton Sarajevo, and the Public Institution „Apoteke Sarajevo“.
Regarding the positions of presidents and members of management boards of public healthcare institutions founded by Canton Sarajevo, a public advertisement is announced for the Public Institution Health Center of Canton Sarajevo, the Public Institution Institute for Public Health of Canton Sarajevo, the Public Institution Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance of Canton Sarajevo, the Public Institution Institute for Addiction Diseases of Canton Sarajevo, the Public Institution Institute for Sports Medicine of Canton Sarajevo, and the Public Institution of Canton Sarajevo Institute for Health Protection of Students of the University of Sarajevo.
The Government of Canton Sarajevo has already appointed new acting presidents and members of the Management Board of the Health Center, who dismissed director Mehmed Kulić and appointed Muhamed Ahmić.
The management board of healthcare institutions, within the meaning of Article 65 of the Law on Health Protection, adopts the Statute of the healthcare institution, appoints and dismisses the director of the healthcare institution, determines work and development plans and the annual work program, adopts the financial plan and approves the annual financial statement, adopts the general act on internal organization and job systematization and other general acts in accordance with the law, the Statute, and the founding act, decides on all matters concerning the performance of activities for which the healthcare institution was established, unless the law stipulates that certain matters are decided by another body of the healthcare institution, directs, controls, and evaluates the work of the director, resolves all matters of relations with the Founder, decides on the use of funds exceeding the amount determined by the Statute of the healthcare institution, is responsible to the Founder for work results, decides in the second instance on an employee's complaint against a decision by which another body determined by the Statute of the healthcare institution decided on the right, obligation, and responsibility of the employee from the employment relationship, submits to the founder at least once a year a report on the operations of the healthcare institution, and performs other tasks in accordance with the law and the Statute, i.e., the founding act of the institution.
