KRNJIĆ CONSISTENT IN DEFENDING THE INTERESTS OF THE FBIH UIO BiH STEERING COMMITTEE SESSION WITHOUT AGREEMENT!

(Patria) - Nothing was agreed at today's session of the Steering Committee of the Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO) of BiH at the UIO BiH headquarters in Banja Luka.

According to the proposed agenda, the members of the Steering Committee were supposed to discuss amendments to the Rulebook on Internal Organization of the UIO, which relate to the manner of operation, i.e., the opening of the Bosanska Gradiška – Novi most – Gornji Varoš border crossing.

Also, the session was scheduled to consider the decision on the distribution of road toll revenue intended for the construction of highways and roads, as well as the decision on determining temporary coefficients for the distribution of funds from the UIO Single Account for the period from October to December 2025.

This second item was placed on the agenda only after the member of the Steering Committee, Zijad Krnjić, put pressure on the BiH Minister of Finance, Srđan Amidžić, by not allowing the decision on opening a new border crossing without a decision on the distribution of coefficients, which is now to the detriment of the Federation of BiH in the total amount of about 120 million KM.

However, Amidžić's goal, according to our information, was not sincere, as he intended to adopt only the decision on opening the Bosanska Gradiška – Novi most – Gornji Varoš border crossing. Krnjić recognized this and stopped it.
