CRUSADER-FASCIST CAMPAIGN Muhasilović for Patria: The plan to attack Bosnia is not new, Bosniaks are a problem because they have their own state

(Patria) - I am not surprised by what leaked from the closed-door meeting in November 2021 between Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó and the leader of HDZ BiH Dragan Čović.

It is evident, and all those who follow the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina could sense it, that there is some agenda at play which the public has called a crusader agenda against Bosnia and Herzegovina, and also against Bosniaks as a nation - stated Professor of International Relations and Geopolitics Jahja Muhasilović for the Patria News Agency.

Marginalization of Bosniaks

However, he says, it has a history, it did not appear out of nowhere. Preparations for something like this have been underway for a long time - to take away political tools from Bosniaks and to simply marginalize them through some apartheid regimes imposed on Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- Hungary is actively participating in this, not since yesterday, but for over a decade. Just recall their diplomats who worked in the Office of the High Representative (OHR), who, during Miroslav Lajčak's tenure, simply paved the way for all that is happening today.

And they have been ideologically inclined all along, just as they are today. Now, all the evidence that we feel here in Bosnia and Herzegovina is slowly coming to light - Muhasilović told us.

He points out that the public has called such actions crusader architecture and policy towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, but he would characterize it as crusader-fascist policy.

- Of course, we would devalue Christianity as a religion if we said this was based on Christian values. This is based on crusader-fascist (non)values towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, to isolate a nation and a state in this way - Muhasilović notes.

In Europe and the West in general, our interlocutor points out, a quiet ideological upheaval has been taking place for many years. And it is intensifying because the demographic picture of Europe itself is changing, so all right-wing European politicians are becoming more radical and aggressive in imposing their agenda.

- This is not an isolated case concerning only Bosnia and Herzegovina. Across almost all of Europe, you have the strengthening of this far-right because they are concerned that what they call white, or European Christians, could one day become a minority in demographic terms, thus questioning how long they can survive as a civilization. And they see this as a kind of civilizational crusade that they must wage on the European continent - Muhasilović believes.

Bosniaks are a problem because they have a state

And the reason why Bosniaks and Bosnia and Herzegovina are currently in focus, he adds, is that Bosniaks have their own state. Muhasilović emphasizes that there are about 60 million Muslims living in Europe today, but the vast majority of them are still minorities and immigrants. Therefore, they are in a disadvantaged position from the very start and are quite disenfranchised, so they are most often pushed into a very narrow track where they are forced to assimilate in order to survive biologically on European soil.

- Bosniaks are a problem because they have their own state. And Albanians are similarly a problem in the eyes of crusader Europe because they are also Muslims and have their own state. However, they are somewhat more secular than Bosniaks, have a somewhat stronger lobby and a somewhat more consistent policy, so they are not as targeted as Bosniaks at the moment. But I think they will also feel in the long run what we are currently feeling in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Essentially, this is a paradigm shift on the European continent, and we are like a global geopolitical seismograph, as the Balkans are known for this, especially Bosnia and Herzegovina, being the first to feel it on their own skin - adds Muhasilović.

He emphasizes that this would not be happening so quickly and decisively on European soil if there were no support from the United States of America. And something similar is happening in the USA, where the white majority is slowly becoming a minority. "And within American diplomacy, these xenophobic elements are increasingly strengthening, which are again reflected in their actions on European soil."

- Essentially, all these right-wingers are encouraged by the American support they enjoy, although officially the USA seems to be pursuing a liberal course, they are in their essence and in their approach towards Muslims and the Islamic world, as well as towards Europe, quite crusader-minded - are Muhasilović's words.

Regarding the imposition of changes to the Election Law in BiH, and the support that came from Hungary in that regard, Muhasilović believes that the OHR, which represents the international community in an executive capacity, has lost some control over this matter, as it could not calculate all possible and hypothetical scenarios.

He adds that the OHR did not anticipate that by imposing these changes, in an attempt to facilitate HDZ BiH, or rather to cement it in power, they would indirectly strengthen SDA as well.

- By strengthening HDZ, they have permanently harmed Bosnia and Herzegovina by strengthening that ethnic prefix, dividing the Federation into two ethnic blocs - Croatian and Bosniak. And as an indirect consequence, SDA has been strengthened, and it is now impossible to form a government without that party.

Only if the international community decides to impose the "Trojka" or "Osmorka" plus HDZ BiH government, and there is increasing speculation that things could move in that direction. This would be a precedent in Europe after World War II for colonial administrators to impose people in power in a democratic country.

I think things could go in that direction, because from the perspective of the international community, it is seen as the only possible way out, as the Constitution of the FBiH is very clear - without the signatures of the vice presidents, the FBiH Government cannot be formed - states Muhasilović.
