(Patria) - Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto and Director General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations Gert Jan Koopman highlighted in a telephone conversation the importance of drafting and submitting the BiH Reform Plan to the European Commission for the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
We recall, the meeting of the working group for drafting the reform plan for the implementation of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans was not held on February 6, because there was no quorum!
Krišto now told Koopman that there is a commitment of the Working Group, which in addition to Krišto includes the presidents of entity and cantonal governments, to complete activities on adopting an indicative list of key reforms necessary for economic growth in BiH.
She, namely, expressed confidence that after the last unsuccessful meeting, the political deadlock in this process has been removed and that all actors involved in drafting the list of key reforms will be aware that the European Commission urgently needs and expects Bosnia and Herzegovina's position on indicative reforms.
This plan is worth a total of 6 billion euros for the period 2024-2027, and Bosnia and Herzegovina could withdraw around one billion euros.
