(Patria) - The commemoration of the Day of Defense of Novi Grad Municipality Sarajevo and the Battle for Žuč Hill – on June 8th will be held at Golo Brdo, on Žuč, where last year the monument “Wings of Freedom” was unveiled, in honor of all heroes, martyrs, and fallen soldiers. This year, the plateau in front of the monument has been further arranged.
The event will take place on June 8th, starting at 4 PM, and the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo has provided free transportation for all citizens who wish to attend the event.
The Mayor of Novi Grad Municipality, Semir Efendić, published photos of the Wings of Freedom monument.
