(Patria) - The Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH has initiated the coordination of expressing needs for the procurement of four medical supplies that have proven most effective in treating COVID-19. The Ministry has, in the shortest possible time, received lists of needs for the drugs Remdesivir, Hydroxychloroquine, Kaletra, and Interferon from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska, and Brčko District, and has forwarded them as a unified whole for further procurement procedures.
"This possibility has been opened to the Ministry thanks to the preparatory phase for signing the European Union's Joint Procurement Agreement for medical supplies, and after the European Commission confirmed the receipt of the letter of intent from the Council of Ministers of BiH, thus placing BiH in an accelerated procedure," it was announced.
