Kremlin: Russia and US continue communication on Ukraine solution

(Patria) - Communication between Russia and the United States continues, including on the issue of a solution in Ukraine, Kremlin aide Yury Usakov said, TASS reported.

"Communication is continuing," Ushakov said. "We are proactively discussing a solution in Ukraine."

Agreements that will be reached at the meeting between the leaders of the two countries will push many political and technical difficulties into the background, the Kremlin aide said.

"It seems to me that if a principled agreement is reached between Washington and Moscow on a meeting of leaders at a certain place, then many technical and political difficulties will fall into the background."
