Krčmarević ahead of Apollon: They are not aware where they are coming, such a match can change a life

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Željezničar continues its European adventure on Thursday. The Blues will host Apollon at Grbavica Stadium in the first leg of the second qualifying round of the Europa League.

Željezničar coach, Slobodan Krčmarević, had only words of praise for tomorrow's opponent.

- A very serious opponent is coming, it is one of my clubs where I spent three good seasons as a player, and two seasons as a coach, it is one of the biggest clubs in Cyprus with a wealthy owner, half of the city of Limassol is his, they have been playing in the group stage for the last three or four seasons, but there are no emotions, we are going out tomorrow to give our best, I believe in my boys, we are gaining rhythm and we are certainly better than seven days ago, every match means a lot to us, I see that tickets are almost sold out, we cannot say we are underdogs, but we leave the role of favourites to the Cypriots - said the Serbian expert.

- We will attack and wait, this is a team that has been playing together for a long time, they play in a 4-2-3-1 system, they have a quality coach, staying there for four seasons is a big thing, our advantage is that they have many experts, I know them in detail, they are very quality, they do not tolerate contact play, if we get into their bones, we know how to play football, they have no plan B, they only play that, when they make substitutions they stay in the same system, I think they cannot surprise us in that.

Krčmarević also commented on the Cypriots' announcements that they are not afraid of tomorrow's atmosphere at Grbavica.

- That is a fantastic overture for my players, every underestimating statement suits us, but they are not aware where they are coming, I have been through many stadiums, but few are like ours, I expect everything to be on fire tomorrow, my players must not burn out.

The Blues' coach also spoke about the form of his players at the start of the season.

- Everything is always questionable around Želja, that is our mentality, football is constant proving, these three wins certainly mean a lot to us, I told the president that the team will be ready when needed, new players are coming whom we are inserting into the competitive rhythm, I cannot say we have hit everything.

This is one of those matches that can change a life, I don't know how many calls I have had for tickets from managers, friends... I always wish to play the first match at home, when you play away first, the imperative in front of your own fans is too great so you can burn out, we have a corpulent team, I like to select such players in the squad, now Rodin is also here, when they enter the penalty area it cannot be indifferent. Even with 3-0 it cannot be safe if you go to Cyprus, but to be realistic, a result without conceding a goal will satisfy me - said Krčmarević.

Anel Šabanodžović believes that he and his teammates will be ready for tomorrow's match.
