Bosnia and Herzegovina basketball players want to start their journey to China with a win against Russia

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team begins its qualifications for the 2019 World Cup in China today against Russia.

The selector of our national team, Duško Vujošević, has a significantly stronger team at his disposal than the one that secured a place in the qualifications through the pre-qualifications this summer.

The Russians are coming to Sarajevo without their best players who play for the two best Russian clubs, CSKA and Khimki, as well as players who play in America, but they are still the favorites.

However, our players, fully aware of the quality of the opponent, believe that with the support of the fans they can make a surprise and open the qualifications with a win.
