SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The men's basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is expected to conclude its gathering today ahead of the start of the 2023 World Cup qualifiers in Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
The coaching staff and some players arrived in Sarajevo on Sunday, where the team will prepare until the first qualifying match against the Czech Republic on Friday.
The first official training session is also planned for today, and a press conference will be held in the afternoon.
Head coach Vedran Bosnić emphasized that the atmosphere among the players and the coaching staff is good. It is important for all players to be healthy and avoid problems with the coronavirus. The arrival of Džanan Musa, who tested positive, is still uncertain.
A press conference of the BiH basketball team is scheduled for tomorrow at 2:30 PM at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel.
The match BiH - Czech Republic will be played on November 26th at 8 PM in the Mirza Delibašić hall (KSC Skenderija).
