The Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team secured a place in the qualifiers for the 2019 World Cup in China with a victory in Yerevan against Armenia, writes the Patria agency.

Our national team took second place in the pre-qualifiers, so it will be placed in Group A, C, E, or G for the World Cup.
In Group A are Montenegro, Slovenia, and Spain, in Group C are Poland, Lithuania, and Hungary, in Group E are Belgium, France, and Russia, while in Group G are Germany, Serbia, and Georgia.
The draw will be held on August 24 in Munich, and the qualifiers begin on November 23.
The three best teams from all groups will advance to the second round, where groups A and B, C and D, E and F, and G and H will be merged. Teams carry over points from mutual duels within their groups, and the top three teams from each of the four newly formed groups will qualify for the World Cup in China.
