Bosnia and Herzegovina basketball players, led by new coach Jasmin Repeša, seek victory against Finland

ESPOO, (Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team plays tonight at 6 PM the first round match of the second round of qualifications for the 2019 World Cup.

The opponent for our Dragons will be the Finland national team.

Jasmin Repeša's players are in good spirits awaiting the match against favored Finland, and Elmedin Kikanović joined the team yesterday, who will lead the team today as captain.

Unfortunately, Nemanja Gordić will not be there, but the presence of NBA stars Jusuf Nurkić and Džanan Musa is certainly encouraging.

On the bench of our team, new coach Jasmin Repeša will make his debut, succeeding Duško Vujošević who stepped down due to illness.

- We have matches ahead against two teams that run and jump well, and if we allow them to develop their system of play, we will have big problems. We must respond in the right way, fulfill our duties, prevent counterattacks and offensive rebounds, and especially easy points. I think we have more talent and quality in positional play. With good chemistry and atmosphere in the team, I think we can achieve victories, concluded the BH strategist.
