Corona in hospitals, doctors told they will not have enough working hours!

(Patria) - The epilogue of testing samples of employees of the Clinic for Gastroenterology and Hepatology of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (KCUS) is four infected with coronavirus, and the clinic has been placed in isolation. Emergency patients will now be referred to the General Hospital 'Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš'.

Results of further tests are pending, and the first contacts of the infected doctors will soon be known, after which the epidemiological picture will be monitored.

What everyone feared has happened. Corona has entered healthcare facilities.

It seems that at KCUS, despite the measures introduced on January 31, when the Crisis Staff of the Clinical Center was established, the management could not foresee everything.

It is clear they are not omnipotent, but an unofficial confirmation obtained by Patria indicates that health was not the priority, but something else.

When asked why employees were not divided into teams, doctors respond that the Crisis Staff of KCUS did not allow it.

„The Health Insurance Institute told us we would not have enough working hours. Only now will they divide all teams into mobile units,“ they tell us from KCUS, asking for anonymity.

This is certainly a major blunder by the management, and double standards are in effect, as for example, Mehmed Kulić, director of the Health Centers of Sarajevo Canton, has come under fire and media lynching, yet no one asks how it is that corona entered KCUS and the Clinical Hospital Mostar „through the back door“.
