Konjic and Jablanica disinfected by FUCZ teams

(Patria) - Teams of the Federal Civil Protection Administration (FUCZ) with two machines last night at 8 PM, with the start of the ban on citizens' movement in the FBiH area, began activities of disinfecting public areas in Konjic, currently the most endangered city in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic. Support to the FUCZ teams in Konjic was provided by members of the Civil Protection of the municipality of Konjic, and in Jablanica, besides members of the Civil Protection of the municipality of Jablanica, members of PVJ Jablanica also joined the FUCZ teams. In addition to public areas, the disinfection of the "Igman" factory complex was also carried out in Konjic.

These activities followed after the Prime Minister of FBiH Fadil Novalić ordered the Federal Civil Protection Staff (FŠCZ) to commence systematic disinfection of cities in FBiH as one of the measures in the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection (Covid – 19).

As stated by the Head of the Civil Protection Staff of the Municipality of Konjic Husein Hodžić, the arrival of the Federal Civil Protection Administration with machines of a capacity that the local utility company does not possess is extremely important. According to the Head of FŠCZ Fahrudin Solak, the priority for disinfecting public areas are places where the largest number of infected persons have appeared in FBiH.
