Konaković meets with US Embassy Chargé d'Affaires John Ginkel

(Patria) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konaković met today with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America in Bosnia and Herzegovina, John Ginkel.

Konaković thanked him for the continuous assistance and support that the United States of America, as the most important partner, provides to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He expressed hope that the two countries will continue to work and contribute to the development of friendly relations in areas of mutual interest.

He emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina remains committed to European and Euro-Atlantic integration as well as to the implementation of reforms.

During the meeting, the current political situation in our country and security challenges were also discussed.

The importance of preserving security and stability in our country was highlighted as a prerequisite for stronger economic development and attracting investments.

In that context, the energy potential through joint projects and strategic initiatives was emphasized.

Chargé d'Affaires Ginkel confirmed the commitment of the United States of America to maintaining and deepening cooperation and partnership with Bosnia and Herzegovina in all fields.
