Konaković on the 'Dodik case': He couldn't have done this alone, we will fight to expose his collaborators and allies

(Patria) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, reacted sharply after the BiH Court announced that Milorad Dodik had been heard and that the detention and warrant measures against him had been lifted. Incidentally, Konaković was one of the loudest proponents of the narrative that BiH institutions would prevail and that Dodik was 'cornered'.

The hearing took place on Friday, without prior notice, and the decision of the judicial institutions caused numerous reactions.

In a Facebook post, Konaković called Milorad Dodik a manipulator and a liar, stating that he had "humiliated himself" by appearing in the BiH Court, without media fanfare and escort.

"We all know that Milorad Dodik is a liar and a manipulator, and we have known it for a long time. We know he has no principles and is ready to trample on his own people, the people around him, the smaller BiH entity. He did all of that by appearing before the BiH Court, and he spat on himself and humiliated himself," Konaković wrote.

The minister also asserted that Dodik "came to a scheduled hearing that someone arranged and prepared," and that he knew the outcome in advance.

"We know that he still controls part of the judiciary, but he couldn't have done this alone. He had collaborators and allies. We will fight with our last ounce of strength to expose both the collaborators and the allies. Especially the 'balije' because it couldn't have happened without the 'balije'," Konaković concluded.
