
(Patria) - Chairman of the Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton Elmedin Konaković and Prime Minister Edin Forto are the first cantonal representatives to attend a session of the Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council
along with numerous members of the international community.
On this occasion, they answered numerous questions regarding what the Government of the Sarajevo Canton has done so far, as well as what it plans to do, mostly concerning the reforms they have promised.
They announced reforms in the areas of municipal infrastructure and transport, continued improvement of transparency in the implementation of the public procurement regulation, as well as the adoption of new laws, specifically those on internal affairs and police officers. Chairman Konaković and Prime Minister Forto stated that they will continue with the reforms.
"This is confirmation that the changes initiated in the Sarajevo Canton have resonated, not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but have also been recognized by the international community," was announced from the Government of the Sarajevo Canton.
