Final Peace for 33 Victims of the Srebrenica Genocide

POTOČARI, (Patria) - 33 identified victims of the Srebrenica genocide will be buried today at the Potočari Memorial Center. Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend the funeral and burial. On Wednesday, participants of the 15th Peace March, more than 6,000 of them, arrived in Potočari, joined by US Ambassador Eric Nelson for part of the final leg. 

The victims' coffins were brought to Musala yesterday. After the commemoration and religious part of the program, the victims will be laid to rest. Family members, genocide survivors, and numerous citizens from around the world have come to Potočari to pay tribute to all 8,372 victims on the 24th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide. Today is declared a Day of Mourning in the FBiH.
