SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Central Election Commission of the Social Democratic Party of BiH wishes to thank all members once again for exercising their right to vote and with a turnout of over 80 percent, demonstrating that SDP is the true leader of the democratization of electoral processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"We wish to take this opportunity to thank all members of the regional, cantonal, and municipal election commissions and polling station committees, who, through their work, ensured that election day passed without serious disruption to the electoral process. The SDP BiH CEC, at its session held on May 28, determined the final results for the president of the Social Democratic Party of BiH. The results are: Delić Edin 8,423 votes, or 37.32 percent, Nikšić Nermin 13,039 votes, or 57.78 percent, Pudarić Svetozar 1,107 votes, or 4.91 percent. The SDP BiH CEC thanks all candidates for enabling members to have the right to choose, and congratulates and wishes good luck in future work to the newly elected president," it was announced from the SDP BiH CEC.
Given that the results from polling stations for which objections were filed cannot affect the outcome, the SDP BiH CEC has decided to incorporate all allegations from them into its own report on the conducted elections, which will be submitted to the SDP BiH bodies. Also, in accordance with the analysis of the past campaign, the SDP BiH CEC will submit all other recommendations, especially regarding the experience of using social networks.
We wish to thank the media, who enabled us to promote the candidates and the electoral process within the SDP BiH.
