SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Football Club Sarajevo expects a match in the third round of Europa League qualifiers on August 8, 2019, and given that the Asim Ferhatović Hase Olympic Stadium does not meet the necessary conditions for playing the match, Football Club Sarajevo is forced to schedule the match at another location.
In the past few days, Football Club Sarajevo has collected offers for stadium rentals that meet the third category requirements. After a detailed analysis of the offered conditions, taking into account financial, organizational, and other parameters, the decision was made that the match will be played at the Bilino Polje stadium in Zenica.
One of the main reasons for this decision is that the fixed costs in the second offer were three times higher than the one received from Football Club Čelik.
Despite the desire to allow fans to watch the match in their city due to logistical costs and potential obstacles for coming to Zenica, during negotiations for renting the Grbavica stadium, a clause was later added regarding the inability to use the south stand, which reduces the capacity of the Grbavica stadium by approximately 3,000 seats, along with a number of other conditions that FK Sarajevo does not wish to accept, according to FK Sarajevo.
In order to create the best possible fan atmosphere, Football Club Sarajevo will complete several arrangements so that all interested fans can support their beloved club affordably and safely at this match in Zenica.
