SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić today explained the differences between his views and those of Presidency member Milorad Dodik on the problems in BiH.
“The difference between my brain and Dodik's when it comes to BiH is this: He says: The sea? That's an issue for the Federation of BiH. I say: Trgovska gora is not just an issue for the RS, but also my issue. We can't play games like that; of course we are also interested,” said Komšić as a guest on N1 television.
He added that he knows “about Dodik's promise to Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and that he knows Integral Inženjering will build the access roads to the Pelješac Bridge.”
Komšić explained that the conclusion for which Dodik sought a vital national interest was not aimed at the Pelješac Bridge, but rather a call to halt construction and resolve the issue of the maritime border between BiH and Croatia through dialogue, as well as BiH's open access to the sea.
“No one disputes Croatia's right to connect its territory, but let's see what our rights are in this,” said the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH.
Komšić also commented on the work of SDS officials in the previous term and said: “This SDS structure has proven to be a very good structure. Minister Mirko Šarović did his job as minister very well; they worked well, I cannot say they were bad.”
