Komšić: It is important that we constantly remind ourselves of the victory over fascism in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Tomorrow we mark the 74th anniversary of the victory over fascism. Unfortunately, even after so many years, forms of fascism are present today in our country, but also across Europe. Therefore, it is very important that we constantly remind ourselves in Bosnia and Herzegovina of May 9 - Victory over Fascism Day, which is also celebrated as Europe Day, according to the message sent to the citizens of BiH by member of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić. 

"In this way, we emphasize the anti-fascist commitment of the majority of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country that has often been targeted by fascism and fascist ideologies. It is important that anti-fascism, as a universal civilizational value, is further strengthened and presented as a vital need for all citizens, who actually consider the anti-fascist struggle their own struggle. As part of the European continent, we should always show that we are on the right and correct side of world history, by cherishing the achievements of the anti-fascist struggle and thus showing that fascism has no place in Bosnia and Herzegovina," Komšić's message states.
