(Patria) - I have nothing against the RS receiving several million marks more from the International Monetary Fund than the FBiH, because that entity is in a more difficult situation, said member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić in a statement for O kanal.
In recent days, as we recall, heated debates have been ongoing about the announced IMF aid to our country. According to the IMF's announcement, this aid should amount to 330 million euros. However, the letter of intent, which needs to be signed by representatives of state and entity authorities, has not yet been sent to the IMF. The reason is the refusal of the HDZ to discuss the distribution of money without the participation of the cantons in these talks. Because of this, even the state and federal finance ministers, Vjekoslav Bevanda and Jelka Milićević, both cadres of the HDZ BiH, refused to put their signatures on the letter of intent. Without their signatures, the letter cannot be sent to Washington.
"The proposal that the cantons be included in the talks on the distribution of money is completely contrary to the BiH Constitution, and that is why I am against this proposal," said Komšić.
