Komšić hosts kindergarten children at BiH Presidency: Receives a song about Bosnia and a painting as a gift

(Patria) - As part of the celebration of April 6th – Sarajevo City Day, children from the "Lastavica" kindergarten had the opportunity to discover the world of politics and diplomacy through a visit to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This visit was an opportunity for the children to learn about the work of the country's highest political body, as well as the premises where presidents and important guests visiting our country stay. The host of the visit was member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić.
The little explorers visited the interior of the Presidency building, saw the rooms where important decisions for the country's future are made.

Komšić patiently answered the children's interesting questions about how one becomes president, what the president's duties are… Member of the Presidency Komšić answered every question with a smile, emphasizing the importance of education, respecting diversity, and working for the benefit of the community.

The director of JU “Djeca Sarajeva” Ilda Bekrić expressed satisfaction with the successfully organized visit to the BiH Presidency, emphasizing the importance of such events for children's education and development.

“Visits to such institutions have a profound impact on children, broadening their knowledge and understanding of important social issues. We thank the Presidency for the warm welcome and member of the Presidency Komšić for his dedication in answering our children's questions.”

To express their gratitude for the hospitality and the opportunity to visit this significant institution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the children, together with their educators, prepared a special song which they performed for member of the Presidency Komšić, and they also presented a painting they drew themselves, symbolically depicting cooperation and friendship. This gesture further strengthened the ties between the youngest and state institutions, highlighting the importance of education and culture in building a better future.
