Komšić: Slaven Kovačević is not a traitor, only when you have 2:1 against BiH do you see how much 2:1 for BiH means

(Patria) - Chairman of the BiH Presidency and President of the Democratic Front (DF) Željko Komšić, in an interview for Slobodna Bosna, spoke, among other things, about the DF candidate for the BiH Presidency member Slaven Kovačević.

Komšić says that what Kovačević, who is also his long-time associate, says and does - has a head and a tail, and that he knows the work of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina very well.

- He is not a traitor but a patriot, he fought for this country both in war and in peace, he is ideologically aligned with the civic state, which is somehow important to me.

With Slaven, we will have a 2:1 ratio for BiH in the BiH Presidency, and without him, after October, we will immediately have a 2:1 ratio against BiH from the start. Only when you have 2:1 against, only then do you see how much it means to have a 2:1 ratio for Bosnia and Herzegovina - Komšić said.

We will see what the citizens decide, he adds.

- As a country, we face great challenges, which is why it is important to have a majority in the institution of the BiH Presidency. It has always been important, and it will be especially important after the next elections - Komšić added.
