Komšić elected new-old president of DF with 348 votes

Željko Komšić was elected as the new-old president of the Democratic Front (DF) with 348 votes during the delegate voting at the First Congress of the DF, held on Saturday in the building of the BiH Parliament, reports the Patria news agency.

Ten delegates abstained.

The party delegates also elected members of the Main and Supervisory Committees. The Main Committee will have 90 members, while the Supervisory Committee will consist of seven members. The Main Committee will elect the other party bodies.

Although a young party, the Democratic Front achieved significant results in the 2014 elections and formed a coalition at the state and federal levels with the SDA and HDZ. The federal coalition collapsed shortly thereafter, but not the state one, reports NAP.
