Komšić invited UN Secretary-General Guterres to visit BiH

(Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić met with
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres in New York.

During a friendly conversation, Chairman of the BiH Presidency Komšić highlighted the significant work of the Secretary-General and thanked him for his support in adopting the Resolution on Srebrenica and Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing its importance for truth and justice.

Secretary-General Guterres called for the earliest possible implementation of the Resolution, stating that the UN continues to support Bosnia and Herzegovina, its sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

The interlocutors agreed that strengthening multilateral cooperation and respecting international law are key to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and the entire world.

At the end of the meeting, Chairman Komšić extended an invitation to the UN Secretary-General to
visit Bosnia and Herzegovina.
