Komšić supports the organization of the 4th International Conference on Genocide

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić received today representatives of the Movement "Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves" and the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide.

Representatives of the associations informed Komšić about the preparations for the IV International Conference on Genocide titled "Stop Denial of Genocide and Holocaust", the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.

The goals of the Conference are to provide assistance and protection to victims and prevent new crimes against humanity.

The meeting discussed that denial of genocide and crimes committed in the past is unacceptable. It was emphasized that denial of ideologies behind Auschwitz and Srebrenica represents a denial of all civilizational values.
 
Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić gave his support for holding this international conference, which is planned for June 20 and 21 in Sarajevo.
