Komšić after meeting with Costa: If rule of law is the foundation of the EU, then it must also apply to BiH

If the rule of law is the foundation of the European Union, then it must also apply to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Komšić stated in a post on his Facebook profile.

"Europe cannot support illegal decisions made by our institutions if it truly cares about the rule of law.

The selection of the new High Representative should be carried out within the framework of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC), since the UN is not part of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

Respect for procedures and international law is a prerequisite for preserving the legitimacy and trust in institutions," Komšić said in a social media post after the meeting with Costa.
